Cryotherapy is the use of air that has been super-cooled to temperatures as low as -196° to induce physiological reactions in the human body.
With an electric unit, the user enters the chamber, exposing their entire body to the low temperatures. Standing inside a specially designed cryogenic chamber for a 3 minute session, provokes the body to react to counter the temperatures. The safe application of cold air stimulates the body with a natural response to drive blood to the core, where it is enriched with enzymes and offers natural analgesic properties. The body is flooded with endorphins, providing a natural ‘high’, bringing positivity and re-energising the user, while reducing stress and later, inducing a restful state. In addition, this process aids in athletic recovery, reducing inflammation and alleviating pain.
